I had the most amazing time shooting with Alexa, being a photographer myself I was so unsure about everything as I have never been the 'model'. She made my man and I feel so comfortable and the pictures she has produced are unbelievable. I am the happiest girl alive right now because of her beautiful, wonderful talent. Please be advised that Alexa and Kelly Hodge photography have been photographing the clothing label Effigy49’s collections since February 2008 and have always produced fantastic shots. During this time they have been very pleasant to work with and always get the look we are after.

As i was competing in a bodybuilding competition & was in good shape, i wanted to get some good photographs of me & my partner together.
I knew other photographers through my bodybuilding, but wanted somebody that would make Lucy feel comfortable. So i looked around on the net, & came across the lovely Alexa. I liked her modeling photos & also the portfolio of photos she had taken & I thought she would be perfect having had experience on both sides of the camera.
When it came to the day booked in, Lucy was a little nervous.
However when we got there, (Alexa's home studio), we were both made to feel very comfortable. The studio was very clean & very professional & the views of the ocean outside the apartment window were fantastic. Lucy had her hair & makeup done by the lovely Sara Stone, which looked amazing.(Great job Sara).
We had many different photos taken with different backdrops & all the while, Alexa would be adding her modeling experience into getting Lucy into positions & poses that ended in amazing photos. Her experience & profesionalism shone throughout the 5 hour shoot that we had.
She made us feel so comfortable that we ended up with some very daring shots.lol.... We were both that happy with our experience with Alexa that we will be booking in for another shoot in the next couple of months. I was glad to have chosen Alexa as our photographer.

I recently shot with Alexa from Art of The Lens Photography, I found the shoot to be very professional and the images that I received were amazing!!
I had my make up, hair and styling provided for me by the lovely Sheridyn Fisher which was included in the package i chose. I found the concepts to be exactly what i was after and the rate charged was very reasonable considering the finished product!
As the weather wasn't co-operating we shot around Sheridyn's house which turned out to be very creative!
I found Alexa to be very lovely, I enjoyed meeting Kelly Hodge and their son as well!
I recommend any model to shoot with Alexa as I am very glad I did, the whole thing was a very good experience!

I first came across alexas images last year when looking at images she took of my friend Sheridyn Fisher. I organised a shoot soon after and flew into Melbourne to shoot. Alexa's creativity captured beautiful images of the sun setting over the water. Alexa is very professional and makes me feel very comfortable during the shoot and uses words of affamation at all times to help with confidence. I love the pictures i received from her! I even got a few images back and fully edited the same day. These are pictures I will have for life. My husband has always wanted some photos of me however I had never been brave enough to do it and it was always going to cost so much for a few photos. Alexa was great, studio was very relaxed and easy to get to. Paying one amount for all the photos she took was perfect for us in both a black and white and colour CD.
