How to Book –

Please email Alexa on alexa@artofthelens.com or SMS 0433 155 307 for any enquiries and bookings. Please write up a short description of what you are after, when you would like to do shoot, what you’d like to achieve, whether you’d require make up or hair, and the location you prefer to shoot in.

To book a shoot we require a deposit. No tentative bookings. Remaining amount payable on the day of the shoot.
We always answer all emails within 48 hours. If you haven’t heard from us, the email could have been lost. Feel free to SMS on (0433) 155 307.

Deposit and Cancelation policy – Sunshine Coast Studio

To book a shoot we require a $180 deposit for a short shoot duration, $280 for a half day’s shoot duration.
If you bring the shoot date forward, and our schedule can accommodate you, we won’t charge you any date change fees.

* Cancelation / date change more than 28 days in advance – we return 100% of your deposit.
* Cancelation / date change 14 – 27 days in advance – we return 50% of your deposit
* Cancelation / date change less than 14 days – we keep the deposit.

Deposit and Cancelation policy – On Tour

To book a shoot we require a $180 deposit for a package 1 shoot and $250 for the package 2 and $350 for package 3 or full day shoot.

* Deposit is non-refundable, however the deposit can be transferred to another person for the allocated time-slot less a 15% administration fee.

By booking the date, we guarantee this time is kept free for your shoot.
From our end we never cancel shoots unless it’s an emergency. In such a case, we either postpone the date, or return your deposit with our apologies.

Make-up

For the longer shoots that include Make-up and hair our MUA will often be available for touch-ups (lipstick, eyelashes), subtle changes, add ons like a few diamontes to add some bling and hair adjustments.

Images and Watermarks or Logo

The images we supply are without our logo or watermark. The ones you see online are what we have edited for our own promotional use and we often supply these as well to our clients. There is no obligation to use these images as they are your images that you commissioned us to make, however any reference to Art of the Lens being the photographers is graciously appreciated.

By booking Art of the Lens, we promise to do our best to provide you with outstanding images. However if weather or other conditions stand in our way, we are not responsible for the outcome.
Art of the Lens has 2 photographers, Alexa and Kelly. On the day, one of us will be doing the shoot. For some full day bookings, we could swap mid way. Our styles are a bit different from each other, so you will get a greater variety of photos.

* Art of the Lens will not be held responsible for any damaged or lost goods, please look after your belongings.
* Art of the Lens will not be liable for any irritation or damage caused by any of the grooming products our make up artist team uses.
* Art of the Lens retains copyright, and might use the images for self promotion unless otherwise agreed with the client. In some cases we can transfer copyright ownership but this needs to be agreed upon before the shoot date.
